Health and Healing

February 24, 2019

The full moon in Virgo that took place on Tuesday of this week was intense for some of us. For others, it signaled the opening of doors to new possibilities, particularly in the realms of health and relationships.

I've started seeing an acupuncturist at the recommendation of my friend who is also an intuitive healer. My first appointment was last Friday, and it was pretty incredible. It felt a bit like the veil of confusion that has been cloaked over my health was lifted. Sometimes, it's exhausting to revisit an old problem with new people. You have to retell stories, and you have to remember every important detail including the ones you want to forget. But you never know which listener will be the one who *gets* you and can help in a meaningful way. So, if you're frustrated over a health situation, I encourage you to continue to search for new solutions, and keep an open heart and mind.

I also recently watched a Netflix documentary called 'Heal', and it talked at great length about the healing power of energy. It really supported the idea many of us already have about how our bodies know how to heal, and how they want to heal; we only need to get out of the way and support ourselves. If you get a chance to watch it, please do!

I'll be at the Gypsy Apothecary Herb Shoppe on Sunday to read palms, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. If you have a story about how something you've found at the shop has helped you heal, please share below in the comments. I'd love to hear them!
